THE STORY BEHIND THE CREATION OF OUR COLLABORATIVE LOGO.
The idea of pupils from D1 Primary Class of Pentalofos for our Planet Diversity, is to have the shape of the "hat" (snake digesting an elephant). They draw five hills because the English translation of the name Pentalofos is "Five Hills". The E1 class students from the 3rd Experimental School decided to draw Exupery's plane and the name of their school written on a banner. Then pupils from Class of Inclusion, Astypalea thought of one "hat" that becomes butterfly (like Astypalea island shape). Oraiokastro means Beautiful Castle but there is no castle in the area. It's a village created many years ago by refugees from Pontos and there was a castle there so they named the village Oraiokastro in the memory of their homeland. So the pupils from A2-4th Primary School of Oraiokastro draw the castle in the sky which represents the memory of the castle in Pontos. Pupils of 5A/5B from Primary School of Ghilarza decided to draw the snake around the little Prince's rose. The D1 class from the 7th Elementary School of Evosmos created a little story... the little Prince arrives at their schoolyard with the plane and plays with them before he takes of to visit the other partners. The 6th grade from the 8th Primary School of Pyrgos wanted to draw the ...sheep. Last, but not least, students from Astyalea's Gymnasium, created the galaxy in which our Planet Diversity starts its voyage to the world!
